Air Conditioning is still a feature that is not planned, designed or built into homes in India. It is usually a retrofit of split air conditioner units. But outside India, in the western countries, every home is planned and designed with ducted central air conditioning as a default feature, which we are building into ClaySys Heights. Since many of our customers are ClaySys group employees who have moved back to India, efficient Air Conditioning has been a key requirement, and is close to our design teams heart.
The biggest but most obvious innovation in the ClaySys Heights project might simply be the use of professional Heat Insulation. The insulation is applied to the internal walls, floors and ceilings, with an insulation rating up to an R-Value of R20. The professionally installed heat insulation ensures minimal dissipation of heat into the interior living spaces, and is designed to prevent heat gain by the mass of the building structure (columns, walls, ceiling, floor), preventing them from radiating heat into the interior spaces.
Every home will be extensively automated, giving you complete control from your smartphone. This means that you can control your lights, fans and appliances with your phone. The automation will exist alongside traditional switches and modes of control. This gives the home owner the best of both worlds. The home automation system at ClaySys Heights is built by ClaySys Technologies, which means after-sales service and maintenance will be ensured.
Forced entry into homes are always a risk. Metal grills do not really provide a foolproof safety option. ClaySys introduces laminated glass (a grade below bullet-proof glass) for its extensive glass facades. This, provides physical security for each home, practically much greater than the traditional metal grills. What’s more, you do not have to compromise on the quality of the view from your home.
ClaySys Heights will be provided with a 100 Kilowatt Solar Power plant on the rooftop, at no additional cost to the home buyers. At ClaySys Heights there will be a number of solar powered applications to improve energy utilization efficiencies for the building and its residents. For a number of key applications especially related to power backup, the Solar Power plant will be the energy source. The ClaySys Technologies team is also designing an energy grid option for the homes, that are tied into the home automation system, to ensure maximum utilization of the solar power generated from the roof top solar plant.
